History
Forty years ago, during a time of war, the small nation of Caltherá delegated its defense and international relations to Avarost as a means of survival. Avarost assumed responsibility for Caltherá’s protection and foreign policy, however, Caltherá successfully preserved its internal autonomy, maintaining its own governing bodies, laws, and culture.
Defense, foreign policy, and customs are now managed from the capital of Avarost. Although one flag flies over the entire territory and citizens have common passports, the gap between the "northerners" from Dravest and the "southerners" from Ilmaré is huge. The journey between the two capitals takes approximately 5 hours by car.
